HuntrIQ ("we", "us", "our") is operated by KloLabs. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.
When you register, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. We use this to authenticate you and deliver service communications.
You may optionally provide your full name, phone number, location, LinkedIn URL, GitHub URL, portfolio URL, and work authorisation status. This information is used to autofill job application forms and to personalise fit analysis.
When you save or track a job via the HuntrIQ extension, we collect:
No data is collected from a job page unless you explicitly click "Save Job" or "Start Applying". The extension content script runs passively on all pages to detect job postings; it does not transmit any data until you take action.
If you upload a resume, we store the file and extract its text content. Your resume is used to power fit analysis and to autofill application forms. You can delete any resume at any time from your profile.
When you interact with the extension, our servers receive the API requests you trigger (e.g. saving a job, syncing an application). Standard server logs record the request type, timestamp, and extension version. We do not track general browsing history or page visits where you take no action.
The extension also records autofill and capture performance data (field match rates, unknown labels, timing) locally in your browser. This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
You can report a bug or send feedback from the extension sidebar or the HuntrIQ dashboard. When you submit a report, we collect the text you write, an optional screenshot you attach or paste, and, unless you untick "Include diagnostics", a diagnostics snapshot: your browser name and version, platform, extension or app version, the address of the page you were on (with query parameters removed, except job identifiers needed to match the posting), the detected job platform, and a short technical log of recent extension or dashboard events (for example, "fit analysis started"). Nothing is transmitted until you press Submit.
Diagnostic logs are filtered before they leave your browser and never include resume content, cover letters, saved application answers, form field values, passwords, cookies, or authentication tokens. Reports opened from an error screen always include diagnostics, since their purpose is to help us fix that error.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Fit analysis is performed entirely on our servers using local keyword matching. Your resume and job description are never sent to an external AI service.
HuntrIQ uses Anthropic for one purpose: classifying skill terms discovered across job descriptions. This process sends only anonymised lists of skill term strings (for example: "fastapi", "elixir", "dbt") to Anthropic's API. No resume content, job descriptions, personal information, or any data that identifies you is included in these requests.
Anthropic's data use is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your data. We share data with the following sub-processors only to the extent necessary to provide the service:

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
Your data is stored on servers we operate. Resumes and other uploaded files are stored on the server's local filesystem. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information, application records, and uploaded resumes are deleted immediately. Resume text may have contributed to aggregated, anonymised skill term counts that are not linked to your account and are not deleted.

The HuntrIQ web app uses session cookies for authentication.
The browser extension stores data across three browser storage areas, all of which remain on your device and are not shared:
chrome.storage.local — your authentication token, cached profile and resume list, and local-only autofill and capture performance logschrome.storage.session — in-progress capture sessions; cleared automatically when the browser closeschrome.storage.sync — your signed-in email address, synced across Chrome devices via your Google accountHuntrIQ is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We will post any material changes to this policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will notify you by email.
